Given the size of the map, expect a fair few options to be available. In terms of vehicles, we can see jeeps and helicopters in the early screenshots, though it’s not clear if the latter arrives solely for extraction or airdrops. It’s likely that you’ll be saving this gear up to set your defenses before taking on the final extraction phase. Screenshots also show airdropped vehicles, so you shouldn’t be stuck hoofing it on foot to each objective. It appears you’ll be able to call in support from the sky via laser pointer, with items like walls and equipment parachuting into the map. Speaking of tactical equipment, expect a lot of options – the official site lists deployable turrets, drones, and barricades, and we also see a grenade which reveals enemy outlines in the trailer. We don’t know if these classes will affect the available equipment or just alter the weapons you can make use of. Ghost Recon Frontline will feature a class system that you’ll be able to tinker with and set up ahead of matches. Intriguingly, one zone is marked as a “Hazard Zone”, which could indicate that different sectors will be made more dangerous to occupy in a similar fashion to PUBG’s red-zone bombardments. We get a brief look at the map at the end of the reveal trailer, with plenty of named regions such as Lumber Yard, Quarry, Brewery, Hot Springs, and Comm Station visible. The game also promises an “ever-changing” weather system that will force players to adapt their style of play. Ghost Recon Frontline is set on Drakemoor Island, a map which includes “diverse environments” with several different zones such as “high mountains” and “ruthless arid lands”. While we’ve only been given a brief glimpse of gameplay, Ubisoft has let slip several details about what to expect. Unlike the last few Ghost Recon titles, Frontline is played entirely from a first-person perspective. Ghost Recon Frontline gameplay, map, and class details There’s currently no release date for Ghost Recon Frontline, but you can sign up for the game’s first (PC-based) closed test this month by following the steps listed here. Ghost Recon Frontline features an advanced class system and large set of tactical support tools allowing for complete freedom in strategic gameplay, with multiple ways to outsmart enemy teams and win every fight.” Ghost Recon Frontline release date and platforms “Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Frontline is a free-to-play, tactical-action, massive PVP shooter grounded in the renowned Ghost Recon universe. In case that wasn’t clear enough, here’s the game’s official description: It’s a setup that should feel pretty familiar to anyone who’s played games like Hunt: Showdown or Escape From Tarkov. Survive for the required time and you can make it out with the goodies you’ve earned. Instead, any time a team attempts to extract, everyone else in the game will be alerted to their position and tasked with stopping them from escaping. Unlike most battle royale games, there’s no shrinking zone here. Teams of players will need to complete dynamic objectives across the map before attempting to extract. In a twist on the battle royale format, it drops more than 100 players into a massive multiplayer map and tasks them to complete a series of objectives. Ghost Recon Frontline is a new free-to-play multiplayer FPS from Ubisoft set in the Ghost Recon universe. Below, we’ll explain everything we know about Ghost Recon Frontline, including player counts, gameplay details, and when you can get stuck in. The mechanics here are quite different to the typical games in the genre. This isn’t Warzone or Apex Legends, however. Whether you’re eager for more battle royale or not, Ubisoft’s latest shooter drops the Ghost Recon franchise into the fray. Ghost Recon Frontline isn’t going to be what fans of the series have come to expect.

We want professional level productions but we want to keep it feeling like a community,” Abbott said. “We want to train the audiences and performers expectations on how a theater production is produced. The talent in Oakdale, Abbott said, is a real boon to the community and the theater company. “And we’re thrilled with our principal leads.” We have boys ranging in age from 5 to 16,” Abbott said. “Our biggest worry was - would we be able to get 25 boys to sing and dance? With ‘Annie’ we knew we wouldn’t have a problem finding girls for the cast but generally, boys don’t want to sing and dance in front of an audience but we found what we needed and they’re great. With an 82-member ensemble, the project was admittedly daunting but the excitement of putting it together pushed past any hint of trepidation. It’s fun to see all the new friendships being made.” Sepulveda agreed, saying, “We have a lot of people taking the stage for the first time. “And a few community members who might surprise you with their talent.” “Oh yes, we have a lot of first timers,” Abbott said, dispelling the notion that only hard-core thespians responded to the call for auditions. One hundred-twenty people showed up to audition, which only cemented Abbott’s belief that there would be community interest in the Dickens classic, and all but five cast members are from Oakdale. Workshops were held prior to auditions to give people a chance to feel out the audition process, which was helpful in easing some performance jitters for some community members who hadn’t taken the stage for a long time - or ever.Īnd it worked. “‘South Pacific’ was in the running but the director has to pick something they feel passionate about,” Abbott said. The same local theater group brought “Annie” to life with an ensemble cast of more than 50 people last year, this time the group decided to tackle something with even bigger demands and more cast members.īut first, a director was needed to take the lead and Abbott, enamored with the Dickens classic, was a natural choice for the Oakdale Community Theatre steering committee. “Oliver!” includes some of the most beautiful and recognizable songs of musical history, including: “Consider Yourself,” “Who Will Buy?,” “As Long as He Needs Me,” and “Where is Love.” The movie version won an Academy Award for Best Picture in 1967.ĭirected by Jenni Abbott and produced by Anastasia Sepulveda, the musical is the second summer production put on by the Oakdale Community Theatre and will run three consecutive weekends on Friday and Saturday, but no Sunday performances this time around. Oliver’s inexperience as a pickpocket changes his course yet again, and his adventures continue as Nancy tries to help him, Bill tries to stop him, and Fagin tries to simply make a profit. They teach Oliver the art and fun of making a living on the streets as they sing “Pick A Pocket,” and he is introduced to Nancy, a local tavern-maid with a heart of gold, and Bill, a villainous thief. He meets a boy known as The Artful Dodger and finds lodging with a group of young pickpockets under the tutelage of Fagin, a life-long thief. After breaking the cardinal rule of asking for more food, Oliver is forced to leave the workhouse orphanage he grew up in and begins his search for a true home and family. “Oliver!” is the story of a young orphan in 19th century London, written by Lionel Bart, based on Charles Dickens’ Oliver Twist. Tickets are available for purchase for $13 each at Oak Valley Jewelers. Poverty, greed, the seething unmentionable sides of humanity - no, it’s not the latest salacious Hollywood headline - it’s the delicious complexity layered into the adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic, Oliver Twist and it’s coming to Oakdale’s stage, Aug. Learn Exactly How Much Water Your Trees Need Each Week. Is water running downhill at your tree’s base? Does your rain spout empty right near your tree? If you spot an environmental cause like this, it may be best to move the tree entirely. After it rains, see if there’s water pooling around your tree and find out where it’s coming from. If you have clay soil, mix in compost to help it drain better. Before watering again, do the screwdriver test mentioned above. That’s a double whammy that could lead to root rot, fungi or long-term tree stress. So, your tree roots are getting too much water and not enough oxygen. That excess water commandeers spots air pockets. If your tree has too much water, it’s struggling to breathe. If it doesn’t budge, you probably have clay soil. If it crumbles, your tree needs more water. If your soil isn’t drenched or sandy, roll into a ball. If it’s sopping wet, you’re overwatering.
In the Japanese version, many male "Elemental HEROes" have the word "man" in their names. Their designs are based on superheroes from Western comic books. " Blazeman" is considered part of this group too but never appeared in the manga. Lastly, " Stratos" and " Shadow Mist" are considered a group of their own due to appearing in the manga but not associated with the "Omni HEROes" and are better suited to aiding most "HERO" decks, the " Masked HEROes" in particular. These include " Ocean", " Woodsman", " Heat", and " Lady Heat". The manga "Elemental HERO" monsters (unofficially called "Omni HEROes") are also grouped together since they don't have fusions with the anime "Elemental HERO" monsters. " Elemental HERO Neos" is seen as having his own support, often grouped with the " Neo-Spacians" and the " Neos" archetype of Fusion Monsters. " Sparkman" was introduced very early on and is usually in card artworks like " Fifth Hope" and " HERO's Bond" alongside the original four, yet has more fusions with the later three. " Bladedge", " Wildheart", and " Necroshade" are often grouped together because there is at least one Fusion Monster for each pair of them (except "Bladedge" and "Necroshade"). " Avian", " Burstinatrix", " Clayman" and " Bubbleman" are often grouped together because there is at least one Fusion Monster for each pair of them (except "Avian" and "Clayman"), as well as " Elemental HERO Electrum" using all 4 as Fusion Materials. I thought maybe we would actual ship wrecks or other relics that have fallen to the bottom of the ocean. However, "structures" you see are ones they put down their themselves. Obviously they can't control the amount of sea life you will see. However, it's definitely not worth the price they charge (about $168/adult). I will say they went up on price from 3 years ago (as have many places in HI). Then you are in the sub for about 45 mins. It's about a 15-20 min ride out to the sub. They have ample seating, and we didn't have to wait a long time before boarding. They then send you to the dock so you can board the boat to the sub. You have to check in at the desk in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village (on the beach side). Last time they had to cancel the tour and it was on the day we were going home so we missed out. My family was glad that we were able to do the submarine tour this time. Do this tour even though it's pricey, it's worth it because not everyone can say they went over 100ft deep in the ocean in a submarine. Back to the hubby, he was looking around and actually enjoying himself, telling me this was an awesome tour and he's glad he didn't ask me to cancel it. The pilot will also do a turnaround so people on the opposite side can see what they were missing. The tour guides give you lots of information and tell you where to look if they see cool fish or other sea life around the sub. You can get pictures but it is tough due to how thick the glass windows are. The sub and windows were so clean making the ascend down over 100ft deep into the ocean a pleasure. We got seated and had an amazing view right about a foot in front of us. Getting into the sub is a very steep latter down and then up when the tour is over, just go at it slow and you'll be fine. We got to the boat to take us out to the sub and he seemed to be a little nervous but went on with the tour. I booked this knowing my husband really wasn't much for water activities because he wasn't around water much growing up: when he found out he was quite a bit upset with me. One last thing, if you want to buy the 2 photos they take before you board the sub (whether prints or online digital copies), you will spend over $30. We spent only $27.50 per person (plus transportation) to get into and rent snorkeling gear at Hanauma Bay and we saw more fish (and reef) more closely there this way outshined the submarine. This experience cost about $115 per person. The submarine seats were also very uncomfortable. Fish is all we saw and we did not see many of them. This is a risky activity in that you MAY see turtles, sting rays, or sharks, but it is more likely you will only see fish. Despite how sunny it was, the water was not very clear and about half of the time there was nothing outside our window. We honestly feel angry about how much we spent for how little marine life we saw. The booking process was easy, the staff and crew were friendly, but the experience itself was incredibly underwhelming. On 11/12/19, my girlfriend and I did the submarine tour off of Waikiki beach on Oahu. Go in the morning if you can because in general that's when you usually see more sea life. Note it is expensive, but from what we remember it's worth it. Just check the weather of the day you want to book and don't book on or near a holiday. Either way we appreciated the call giving us a heads up and have received a refund on the credit card. Obviously they can't tell anyone that because it would make them look bad. There were boats and people all over the water that morning, so I'm pretty sure that's what it was. High winds weren't expected until that afternoon night, so my guess is there were a lot of staff that didn't show up (it was the morning of December 24th). It was windy that day, however here's my problem. They were very nice and offered a tour for another day, but we were leaving that night, so we couldn't do it. On our way to check-in I received a call they had canceled the tour due to weather conditions. We were staying at a nearby hotel, so we walked to the check in desk by the Hilton Hawaiian village. We had done a tour with them 15 years before and were looking forward to this tour. I booked the Premium Submarine tour for December 24th. Whether that is gay, straight, a merman, whatever. "I have no interest in playing myself, or being a personality, it's always been finding the weird and interesting and humanity in someone else's story. I wanted to tell stories, and I wanted to fall into other lives," he explained. "I became an actor because I wanted to play someone else. I think if we start sort of narrowing down casting to exactly what you are, it just means that I'll always be able to play a Latin guy who's gay, you know what I mean?" "So, I do believe that straight actors play gay, and gay actors play straight. "Having said that, yes, I welcome all kinds of gay roles, whatever they may be, in my life, but I also believe that we as actors come into this job and this profession because we like experiencing other people's experiences, not just our own," he added. And so, it was actually really cathartic for me as an actor to be doing that." "The moment where him and I are dancing together and we hug, for some reason that got me because I've never seen myself do that on screen. I might've shed a tear," Di Pace began when asked for his stance on the issue. "I've played straight pretty much all of my career, and it was kind of like a really nice change playing this role. Meanwhile, "Prison Break" star Wentworth Miller recently announced he's only going to play gay roles going forward - and said he would would like to see more gay parts played by gay actors. Star Kristen Stewart told Variety it was such "a slippery slope conversation because that means I could never play another straight character" if she said straight actors couldn't play gay. "Happiest Season" also revived the nuanced discussion about straight actors playing queer roles and vice versa. Porte said that while a lot of queer films can include "some kind of internalized homophobia," he found it "refreshing" that wasn't the case here - and was happy his character's "difficult" and "rich snob" persona had nothing to do with his sexuality. Even the town, they get to go to a saloon and dance and they're dancing side by side and it is really lovely to see. All the characters around them are really like rooting for them to get together and that in and of itself is so sweet. "There's usually self loathing in gay-themed movies and in this one, there isn't. "It's a breath of fresh air," said Di Pace. Their coming out is not a source of conflict, but something they bond over as they both begin to let down their guards. Unlike a movie like "Happiest Season," which revolved around Mackenzie Davis' character coming out to her conservative family, Di Pace and Porte's characters in "Dashing In December" are out from the start of the film. "We love the formula of a holiday movie," he added, " did such a good job of giving people what they wanted and what we have come to expect in a holiday movie, while also completely turning it on its head." "This is my fifth holiday movie, and I'm always paired with a beautiful blonde girl who doesn't really love Christmas and is overworked and has to return home and she meets a handsome guy, and this time I got to play the beautiful blonde girl," he said with a laugh. "So, not only to be part of a show that we were able to accomplish during the pandemic, but also a show that is so unique and so important - especially during this time where there's a lot of division, there's a lot of uncertainty - I think it couldn't have come at a better time, and I'm really pleased to be part of it."įor Porte, starring in "Dashing In December" found him in a bit of a role reversal from holiday movies past. "I was shocked that I'd have any work at all this year," added Porte. I watched them, they're so lovely and I'm really glad to be in that company and to be opening the conversation to families because this is the type of movie that will be watched at home with your mom and your dad and your grandma, and it's a normal thing to watch and it would be lovely that that's the case." It does feel like a bit of a revolution, and it's always so good to be at the forefront of something that hasn't been done before," Di Pace told TooFab. |
